提高大学生英语听力理解水平的教学方法探究

摘  要:通过分析听力理解的心理过程及现有大学英语听力教学的现状,发现学生听力理解能力提高不显著的重要原因是缺乏必要的语音知识、词汇量和文化背景知识。有针对性的采取了提高语言感知水平、激活相关背景知识、培养学生预测和猜测的能力、丰富知识构架等几点教学策略。Listening ability is the basis of learning a foreign language.However,the fact is that college student's ability to listen is far below their ability to read and write.Besides,the reformed college band four and band six tests also indicate that we should lay much more emphasis on the training of students' listening ability.Facing such reality,the author tries to explore on the new teaching approach.Through analyzing the principles of listening comprehension and the deficiency of traditional teaching approach in listening,the author finds out the barriers that hinder college students' improvement of their listening ability.Then some correlated techniques were introduced in order to wipe off the obstacles to students' listening comprehension.
