摘　　要：自20世纪80年代以来,受诸多因素影响,如美国人口结构变化、弱势群体受教育权得到重视、终身教育思潮传播以及高等教育普及等,美国大学"非传统"学生人数急剧增加,学生年龄结构呈高龄化趋势,致使美国大学在办学理念、教学手段、课程结构诸方面出现显著变化。Since the 1940s,the USA population structure has changed a lot.The education right for vulnerable groups has been paid much more attention to.The lifelong education ideas have been wide spread and higher education has been popular among the people.As a result of above aspects,the non-traditional students have been increasing in the American universities.The university students became older and older.Such a phenomenon led to many significant changes including educational philosophy,teaching methods,course structure and so on.
