摘　　要：本文叙述了情报的概念和它在人们社会活动中的作用。信息普遍存在于自然界、人类社会和人们的思维领域中,而知识是人类社会实践经验的总结、是信息的一部分。人类围绕着知识所进行的交流活动就是情报。企业情报的需求是与经济活动的范围、规模、复杂程度成正比的,可以说企业情报活动是一种不可或缺的特例形式的工作,是一切企业经营、管理和科研工作的重要组成部分,也是企业经济管理上一项极为重要的资源。The concept of intelligence and its role in human social activities were introduced in this paper.Information popularly existed in the natural world,human society and thinking field.Knowledge was a summary of practical experience in the human society and was a part of the information.The communicative activities concerning knowledge were called intelligence.Enterprise＇s demand for intelligence was in direct proprotion to its economic activities＇ scope,scale and complexity.That was to say enterprise＇s intelligence activity was an essential work in a special way,was an important component of the management and scientific research work,and was also an important resource of economic management of the enterprise.
