科技英语术语翻译的新特点及其应用原则

摘　　要：近年来，科技英语翻译为中国在科学技术领域同国外的交流及学习中做出了巨大的贡献。随着科技的发展，语言学家及翻译学家对科技英语翻译的研究逐渐深入，再加上英语语言本身的不断演变，科技英语术语在翻译领域中呈现了一些新的特点。本论文以科技英语术语名词作定语为科技英语翻译的新特点，探讨了在科技术语翻译中名词作定语代替形容词作定语的新特点，重点分析了名词作定语的可应用原则。In recent year, the S＆T English translation has made the tremendous contribution for China in the science and technology domain with the overseas exchange and study. Along with the technical development, the linguists and translators penetrate gradually to the research into the S＆T English translation; in addition to continuous evolution of English language, the S＆T English terminology has presented some new characteristics in the translation domain. The present paper makes the S＆T English terminology attributive noun as the S＆T English translation new characteristic, discusses the new characteristic of the attributive noun replacing adjective noun in the S＆T terminology translation, analyzes the application principle of attributive noun.
