Objective To analyze the multi-factors contributing to amblyopia therapeutic efficacy. Methods Six hundred amblyopia children who aged 3~12 years and received 3-year treatment were investigated. Results In this study, the curative rates of children aged 3~5 years,6~8 years, and 9~12 years were 64.5%,74.6%,and 42.1%,respectively.The curative rates of light, moderate, and heavy amblyopia were 86.7%,59.3%,and 31.3%,respectively.The curative rates of anisometropic amblyopia, ametropic amblyopia, and strabismic amblyopia were 69.6%,67.3%,and 48.4%,respectively.The curative rates of patients with good compliance, common compliance, and poor compliance were 79.3%,67.0%,and 29.4%,respectively.The curative rate of patients with central fixation was significantly higher than that of paracentral fixation. The curative rate of patients with family history was significantly higher than those without family history. The more knowledge the parents, the higher curative rate the children. The curative rate of patients from county and city was significantly higher than those from countryside. Conclusions The degree of amblyopia is the most important influencing factor in treating amblyopia, followed by compliance, age, classification of fixation, and type of amblyopia.
