高校《英文电影与文化》课程现状与对策

摘　　要：《:英文电影与文化》是高校非英语专业大学英语选修系列课程之一,目前该课程的实践教学存在诸多问题,未取得应有的成效。而解决其存在的问题需要相应的对策,即明确课程性质;突出英文电影与英美文化学习的关系;实现课程教与学过程中的三个结合:教师主导性和学生主体性相结合、影片鉴赏与文化主题讨论相结合、课堂教学与网络课程论坛相结合。实现课程教学目标明确化、教学内容系统化和教学模式科学化。English Films and Culture is one of the college English optional curricula,which are designed for non-English major undergraduates.Currently,the teaching of the course doesn＇t achieve its desired aim,so some measures can be taken to solve the existing problems.Firstly,the nature of course should be made clear;Secondly,the relationship between English films and their relevant cultures should be highlighted;Thirdly,it is of great importance to combine teachers＇ dominating role with students＇ subjectivity,to combine film appreciation with culture discussion,and teaching in classrooms with teaching forum on line.
