摘　　要：Recently, the State Grid Corporation of China and the Brazil National Power Company signed a cooperation agreement, by which Brazil will adopt China＇s UHV transmission technology to build the transmission project for Beautiful Mountain Hydropower Station. This ＂power expressway＂ will help to send the hydropower of the Amazon River in the northern part of the country to the developed areas several thousand kilometers away.
