摘　　要：世界上既有充分的实物遗存又有明晰的历史赓续的雕塑传统是：古代中国的传统雕塑、古代波斯——印度的传统雕塑、古代埃及——希腊的西方传统雕塑。中国古代雕塑作为世界三大雕塑传统之一，在世界雕塑历史中占据了重要的地位，也在世界艺术造型上呈现出独特的面貌。中国传统雕塑与其他传统雕塑在形态学意义上所显现出来的巨大差异主要在于它们的文化依据和美学渊源的不同，Traditional Chinese sculptures are one of the top three sculpturing traditions due to its unique forms and techniques.The traditional sculptures in China are like the traditional music of china,the traditional drawings,and the traditional dancing in the Chinese culture;they all have one thing in common---lines.Emphasizing the forms of lines in Chinese traditional sculptures is very important,because this is above the technical level,this is what the researchers of sculpture history should know,and this is what we call 'The Chinese Concept'.
