从民族主义角度看纳吉布·马哈福兹与西方文化

摘　　要：任何一个民族的文学的发展都是合力的结果。纵观纳吉布·马哈福兹各个时期作品的创作艺术,明显地表现出他对民族文学传统的继承,埃及性已无法从他的身上剥离。马哈福兹是带着自己独特的民族特色走向世界的,但这一特色又经过域外文化(特别是西方文学)的洗礼。在处理民族文化传统和西方文化影响的关系中,纳吉布·马哈福兹走的是一条继承传统——借鉴西方——回归传统——走向世界的道路,贯穿其中的是马哈福兹不断探索、追求创新的意识。Literature of any nation is the result of joint efforts. We can see that Najib Mahafuz inherited the national literary tradition throughout all his works in his every period. It is impossible to strip the Egyptianness from his body. Mahafuz walked to the world with his unique national characteristic, but the feature had been baptized by the extra - territorial culture （ especially the western literature）. Najib Mahafuz underwent several stages such as inheriting tradition, using the West for reference, returning to tradition and walking to the world in dealing with cultural traditions and influence of western culture＇ s relationship. In this process, Mahafuz reflected his spirit of exploration and awareness of innovation.
