摘　　要：莎士比亚的《哈姆雷特》除写了哈姆雷特为父复仇的故事外,还写了大臣波洛涅斯之子雷欧提斯为父复仇。两种复仇方式此起彼伏,共同推动了故事情节的发展。文章从复仇动机、复仇过程和复仇结果三方面进行比较,分析两种复仇方式的异同,并试图找出造成差异的原因,以帮助读者对当时社会背景、人物性格等有更深刻的了解。Shakespeare＇s Hamlet tells us a story about Hamlet who took revenge for his father, so did Laertes. These two stories of revenge contributed a lot to the plot. The paper tries to find out the difference of causing revenge by comparing the motivation, process and the results of the revenge, which will help the readers have a better understanding of the social background and the characters of the story.
