摘 要:"家"的流动能否让流动者持续饱有"家乡"情愫?借鉴享廷顿对于移民研究的三种类型(旅居者、归附者和双重忠诚者)对两类流动(农民工、留洋流动)作了规模、结构及情感归属上的描述性比较;然后根据伯克的认同变动理论对三类型流动群像作归因解释,基本的研究结论有:(1)当"家"离开"家乡"时,流动者对家乡的情愫是分类型而异的;(2)就对家乡的眷念因素而言,农民工更侧重于土地,留洋者更依从文化;(3)流动者乡土情感的异质性分类,与流动者个体对认同标准、感知、比较及其行为的选择相关。This essay examines the issue of whether the ties of the migrant for his hometown can survive, even as he moves his home around, on the basis of interviews as well as secondary sources. In this essay, the migrant refers to two categories of people--those peasants who have abandoned their hometowns for cities and towns as migrant workers, and those oversea peoples who have chosen to study and work in a foreign country. Despite major differences between the two, they both adhere to three common migration patterns in relation to their new places of residence: sojourneer, belonger, and dual loyalist. This study explores the composition and the size as well as the emotional attachments of each group and tries to explain the migration patterns in the context of Peter J. Burke' s Identity Change. It concludes that there are different types of native emotion in both the migrants and oversea peoples, and that, while both groups are strongly attached to their native places, the ties of the migrant workers are to the land that they have left behind, while those of the overseas Chinese students are largely cultural. As for the differences between and within the groups, they can be attributed to differences in the standard, perception, values, and choices of the individuals.
