摘　　要：新媒体联盟(NMC:New Media Consortium)自2004年以来连续八年推出关注高等教育环境中新兴技术及其应用的地平线报告(The Horizon Report),其目的是确定和描述有可能在未来五年内的全球范围产生广泛影响的新兴技术在高等教育中的发展趋势及由此形成的关键挑战。本文通过对这八份年度报告的解读,揭示出当前新兴技术对高等教育中的教学、学习和学术研究所带来的现实困境与历史性机遇。New Media Consortium for eight consecutive years since 2004, has concerned about the higher education environment, introduced new technology and its application in the Horizon Report. The purpose is to ensure and describe the future trends and its crucial challenges in the higher education which may happen in the coming 5 years. This article through the interpretation of these 8 re- ports reveals the realistic difficulties and historic opportunities which brings from the teaching, learning and academic research for the higher education of the current emerging technology.
