摘　　要：进入中国多年后，以沃尔玛为首的外资零售业已遭遇发展模式的“天花板”，重庆“绿色猪肉事件”不过是被推倒的第一张多米诺骨牌；On October 17th 2011,Ed Chan,the chief executive and president of Wal-Mart China suddenly resigned from the company before the end of his planned tenure. It all started in Chongqing.In 2011 the Chongqing Administration for Industry and Commerce began heavily regulating food safely within the city,leading the normally principled Wal-Mart to be the tirspt to fall to the increased scrutini/ation 20 month old ordinary pork was found being labeled and sold as organic pork;dozens of fines were paid for various violations;several employees were taken in lor questioning by local police,leading to some employees lacing criminal charges. Back in 2005 Wal-Mart was warmly welcomed by the Chongqing government;however that welcome seems to have been worn out.
