摘　　要：文章重点论述了《中国荒漠化和沙化土地图集》从编辑制作到出版印刷整个工艺流程中的一些技术关键点。从客户所提供的ArcGIS数据源开始到如何进入出版系统的软件编辑制作的技术设计;再从为了提高印刷质量,采用最先进的CTP制版技术;再到如何严格监控印刷环节。一本优秀地图集的制版印刷工艺蔚然而成。可为图集印刷工作者作为参考。This paper emphasized on the key technologies from compilation production to publish and printing of the Atlas of Desertified and Sandified Land in China.Based on the data resources of ArcGIS,this paper introduced the technical design of compilation production in publishing system.In order to improve the printing quality,it applied the advanced CTP imaging or prepress technology,then it discussed the quality control in the stage of printing for produce an excellent atlas.It can provide reference for atlas printing professionals.
