摘　　要：古代湖南人才稀少,因而没有像近现代湖南人才一样引人注目。但在两千年历史长河中,湖南人才也曾有过高潮。三国时期、唐末五代时期、南宋时期、明代后期、清代中期,湖南人才相对兴盛,可称为古代湖南人才的五个波峰期。There were few talents in Hunan in ancient times; therefore, Hunan attracted less attention than in modem times. But in two thousand years history, Hunan talents have had s peak, the Three Kingdoms period, the late Tang Dynasty and Five Kingdoms period, the Southern Song Dynasty, the late Ming Dynasty, the Qing Dynasty, the relative prosperity of people in Hunan, Hunan, may be called the five peaks period of ancient people in Hunan.
