摘　　要：尽管博士生在硕士生阶段接受过一些专业训练,但对于研究方法、论文撰写和学术规范等仍缺乏了解。"研究方法论"课程可以帮助他们比较系统全面地了解和掌握学术研究的方法与规范。虽然英语专业博士生分属不同的研究方向,有不同的专业特征,但是,他们在博士生阶段的学习研究中也存在着不少共性,这使"研究方法论"能够成为一门行之有效的博士生课程,其主要内容和教学方式也在不断实践中逐渐被师生接受。Though with a background of academic training, the graduate students on Ph.D. program have not yet had suffi cient knowledge of research methodology, theses writing and academic regulations. The course of Research Methodology could enable them to comprehensively understand the approaches and regulations for research. Though under different orientations, the graduate students must have common points in their studies on Ph.D. program. This course has thus been regarded as effective and signif icant on Ph.D. program, while its content and teaching process have been accepted by supervisors as well as the students.
