摘　　要：The effects of Tong Guan Huo Lou You on pain relief, anti inflammation and subsidence of swelling were observed and verified. The hot plate method in mice and the tail flick latency method were used to determine the pain alleviating effect. The albumin and carrageenan paw swelling methods in rats were used to determine the anti inflammatory effects and the traumatic paw swelling method in mice to determine the effects of swelling subsidence. The pathological examination was done with the help of microscope and electron microscope for observation. The results showed that the treatment group with the external application of this drug achieved a better effect, which was verified by the pathological examination. It is concluded that Tong Guan Huo Lou You has good effects on subsidence of swelling, anti inflammation and pain relief.The effects of Tong Guan Huo Lou You on pain relief, anti inflammation and subsidence of swelling were observed and verified.
