摘  要:1 Geological background The Rehai high-temperature geothermal field is located at the convergent collision zonebetween the Indian and Eurasian plates, in Tengchong County, Yunnan Province. There isplenty of fractures and faults in the region. The gravestone of the Neogene Nanling For-mation is observed, which rests on Yanshanian granites or metamorphic rocks of thePrecambrian Gaoligongshan Group. Geothermal manifestations include fumaroles, boilingspringr, warm springs, steaming ground, sulphur, siliceous sinter, etc. The latesthydrothermal explosion occurred last year.
