摘  要:Intercellular connections and communications play very important roles during organisms growth and development. Although plasmodesmata and gap junction as intercellular channels are different in anatomy and structure, they exhibit striking similarities in their functions. It is suggested that they have some similar biochemical regulation mechanism. Connexins are the transfer of cytoplasmic material by conformational changes.
