摘　　要：铁磁流体是由基液、磁性超微粒子和表面活性剂组成的一种胶体悬浮液。它兼有固体磁性物质的磁性和流体的易流动性,因此,这种磁性液体被广泛地应用于工程中的许多领域。例如,密封、减振、润滑等。本文将对国内外所研究的磁流体的部分性能及工程应用进行综述。A ferromagnetic fluid is a colloidal suspension liquid, which is comprised of carrier liquid, magnetic particles with diameters between 5～20nm and surfactant. Possessing both magnetisation of solid magnet material and flowability of liquid, it is widely used in engineering fields, such as sealing, lubracation, damping, etc. After discribing a few of the intrinsic properties of this magnetic liquid, this paper gives some examples of the diverse applications for ferromagnetic fluids.
