摘  要:从调研中引出讨论的问题,进而分析paraphrase的含义及在英语教学中的重要作用,然后通过实例,重点对教学中paraphrase的对象进行论述。笔者认为paraphrase的对象是一些难于理解的词或词组、一些不同的句式、一些特殊形式虚拟语气句子和一些修辞句。只有弄清楚了paraphrase的对象,才能进行正确的paraphrase教学,切实提高学生的综合语言能力。From an investigation, this paper raises the question of paraphrase. Then it analyzes the meaning of paraphrase and its important functions in English teaching, and then in detail discusses the objects to be paraphrased through examples. The author thinks that the objects to be paraphrased are the words or phrases, different sentence patterns, some sentences of subjunctive mood in special forms and some rhetorical sentences that are hard to understand. Only the objects to be paraphrased are made clear can proper teaching of paraphrase be fulfilled to really improve students' integrated language competence.
