西部地方高校定位中的问题与对策探讨

摘　　要：西部地区地方高校是我国西部高等教育的重要生力军。西部地方高校要实现持续、健康发展,合理定位是重要前提。本文针对西部地方高校办学定位中存在的问题,从立足客观实际、明确自身所处位置、转变政府职能完善高等教育法治、加强高校分类问题研究、完善人才市场机制、确立高校的主体地位等方面对西部地方高校合理定位之策略作出了初步探讨。Local universities in western China are the major vital force of higher education in the region.The rational orientation is the premises for the sustainable and healthy development of the universities.In view of the existent problems with the local universities in western China,the writers of this article make a tentative exploration of orientation strategies for the local universities in western China in the aspects of how to understand the actual situation and position,improve policy designing,strengthen the classification and research of the problems with universities,improve the mechanism of personnel market,and establish the subject status of universities.
