摘 要:田园诗是中国古代诗歌史上一个重要的概念。其名称发端于唐宋人对陶渊明诗歌的评价;明清时期,田园诗开始用来指称一类题材的陶诗或一个流派的诗作,具有狭义和广义两种内涵,并与田家诗概念混同使用;现当代以来,田园诗的狭义与广义内涵分别被文学批评家强调和突出。近些年,人们开始对田园诗进行定义,虽逐步完备,但仍有欠周密之处。从词源学的角度看,田园一词兼有田庄别业和农村两种涵义,田园诗就是以这两种意义上的田园为空间场景,以田园风光、农事劳作和日常生活为题材,以士人和农民为主要人物形象,以乐和苦为基本主题的诗歌,具有狭义和广义之分。Tianyuan Poetry (the Chinese counterpart of pastoral poetry), a key concept in the ancient Chinese poetic history, is thought to have originated in the evaluation of Tao Yuan-Ming' poetry. During the period of Ming and Qing, the term of tianyuan poetry was used to refer to Tao Yuanming's poetry and the poetry in its similar vein, thus acquiring its broad as well as narrow senses and being used interchangeably with the term of Tianjia Poetry. Since the modern times began, the difference between the broad sense and the narrow sense of the term has received particular attention from literary critics. In recent years, people have begun to define tianyuan poetry in a new manner. The criteria adopted are greatly improved, but they are far from perfect. From an etymological perspective, the word tianyuan can denote farm as well as the countryside. Based on these two types of tianyuan as scenery space, the tianyuan poetry in its broad sense as well as narrow sense set the idyllic scenery in the countryside, the farm work and the daily life there as its main topic; farmers and intellectuals as its major characters; and the happiness and hardship there as its basic theme.
