摘　　要：民族医疗卫生事业是我国民族事业的重要组成部分,不仅在历史上为各族人民的生存繁衍做出了重要贡献,而且对提高人民群众健康水平、促进经济社会发展,也对构建和谐社会发挥着不可替代的独特作用。新时期西藏医疗卫生事业急需全科医生人才,本文从西藏农牧区全科医生人才的需求出发,探讨了医学教育改革的必要性。China＇s medical and health service of nationalities,an important part of the nationalities cause,not only greatly contributed to the survival and multiplication of peoples in history,but also plays an irreplaceable role in improving people＇s health,economic and social development and building a harmonious society.Medical and health undertakings in Tibet have an urgent need for general practitioners in the new era.This paper discusses the necessity of medical education reform from needs for general practitioners in Tibetan farming and pastoral areas.
