摘　　要：本文通过对名家的典故诗词译作的对比分析,浅释了古诗词英译的三大原则:达意、表情、传神。译者只有充分理解典故的含义,掌握相关的历史文化等背景知识,才能实现译入语与译出语之间的准确转换。Based on the contrastive analysis of the translation of ancient famous poetry and allusion, this paper illustrates the three principles in the English translation of ancient poetry： expressiveness, emotionality, vividness. Only when the translator fully understands the deep meaning of the ancient Chinese story and has relevant historical culture back^ound knowledge, can he accurately converts from the source language and target language.
