摘　　要：沃尔特·司各特的小说《艾凡赫》中运用了许多叙事手法,他们在塑造人物性格、反映作者立场及推动情节发展上起到一定作用。本文从叙事聚焦、叙事时间和叙事逻辑三个方面对沃尔特.司各特的小说《艾凡赫》展开分析。通过分析可以看出作者作为政治保守派的立场,男女主人公的性格特征和故事情节的发展。In this article the functions of narratology is going to be analyzed in three aspects： focalization, narrative order and narrative logic. Through the analysis we can see the writer＇s stance as a conservative man in politics, the characteristics of the hero and heroine and the development of plot.
