摘　　要：英语文体学与翻译密切相关,文体是翻译时要处理的一个重要问题。文体学在翻译过程中具有极其重要的指导作用。从文体学的角度论述了英汉翻译的适应性:原文和译文在语言和体裁的风格方面必须保持一致,应用文、广告、新闻、科技、文学五大门类的文体有其各自的语言特点和相应的翻译方法。English stylistics is closely related to translation.Style is one of the important aspects to be considered in translating and stylistics is of great significance in guiding translation.The paper discusses the appropriateness of translation from the perspective of stylistics： the original text should be consistent with the translated version in language and style.The five styles like practical writing,advertising,news reporting,science technology and literature have their own language characteristics and corresponding ways of translation.
