摘　　要：文章采用将城市地理信息系统与消防结合来提高城市消防指挥调度效率的方法,以VB6.0为开发工具,根据MapX控件的特点,介绍了MapX控件在城市消防地理信息系统中主要功能的实现过程。Combination of Urban Geographic Information System and fire -fighting is a new means which will enhance the efficiency of Dispatch and Command in city fire-fighting. This article takes VB6.0 as development tools with the specialty of MapX control, introduces the implementation procedure of the main functions in the city fire-fighting geographic information system.
