摘　　要：我国的外语教育进行了几十年,效果不能令人满意,症结在哪里?很多学了多年英语的人属于"哑巴英语学习者",不能运用普通的英语进行流畅的口语交流。必须改变重教师讲解轻学生练习、重书面语学习轻口语练习、重应试训练轻实际应用的观念和做法,遵循语言学习规律,依照先口语后书面语的学习顺序教学,使畸形的应试教学变为注重全面发展的素质教学。Foreign language teaching in China has not been quite satisfactory for scores of years.Some still cannot express their ideas after many years of learning.What are the causes？ According to the laws of languages,it＇s time for us to turn our language teaching from tedious lectures,endless examinations to its nature as a langue.Let＇s lay emphasis on the learners＇ practicing of what they learn in the classroom and train them to get more useful skills.
