摘　　要：网络远程教育生态系统特征分析是开展网络远程教育生态学研究的前提和基础,文章首先论证了网络远程教育具有自然生态系统的特征,包括层次特征、构成特征、结构特征和功能特征;然后论证了网络远程教育具有人工生态系统特征,即社会性、易变性、开放性和目的性。基于网络远程教育具有自然生态系统和人工生态系统特征,文章给出了网络远程教育生态系统的定义及其研究对象。本研究为应用生态学原理和方法开展网络远程教育研究提供了理论依据。This paper studies one aspect of online distance education ecosystem,its characteristics.On the one hand,online distance education manifests features of a natural ecological system in terms of its hierarchy,composition,structure and function.On the other hand,in analogy to an artificial ecological system,online distance education also demonstrates characteristics of an artificial ecological system like sociality,changeability,openness and purposefulness.Taken into account of these natural and artificial properties,online distance education ecosystem and its study subject are thus defined.This article hopefully would consolidate a theoretical basis for the application of ecosystem principles and methods to develop online distance education.
