摘　　要：采用问卷调查法和访谈法,从元认知的角度,对河北农村生源大学生英语学习现象进行调查研究。调查结果显示,受试者成绩与元认知策略之间存在密切的联系,元认知策略使用多的受试者成绩高。根据调查统计结果和发现,有针对性地提出帮助英语学习困难学生获得相对有效转化的各种对策。This paper focuses on the research of college students of the countryside in Hebei province and their English learning difficulties from the perspective of meta - cognitive theory. Using the methods of interview and questionnaire, a close interrelationship is discovered between the subjects＇ achievement in English study and the meta - cognitive strategy. Multiple reasons for this phenomena and different ways to overcome the difficulties are analyzed in the end.
