摘　　要：古华1980年完成的《芙蓉镇》是一部借鉴并发扬民族传统与文学传统的优秀长篇小说。民族习惯、民俗生活、民族人物性格的书写与突破成为作品的一个显要特色;对现代文学传统的借鉴,集中外叙事文学的写作传统于内,完成了"寓政治风云于风俗民情图画,借人物命运演乡镇生活的变迁"的写作初衷。Gu Hua＇s The Lotus Town, written in 1980, is an excellent novel drawing on and carrying forward the national tradition and literary tradition. The description and breakthrough of national habits, folk life and the national personality of characters has constituted a prominent trait of the novel, for the use of modern literary tradition as well as of writing traditions at home and abroad has accomplished the original intention of writing--＂ implying political situations in pictures of social customs and public feelings and exhibiting the life vicissitudes in townships by virtue of the fate of characters＂.
