摘　　要：民族团结教育,是民族团结进步事业的重要内容和思想保证,回顾和总结其研究状况,对推进我国民族团结进步事业具有重要的现实意义。10年来,我国在该领域的研究取得了巨大成绩,但也存在着"进展慢、成果少、主体窄,以及研究内容不平衡、研究成果层次低和理论创新不足"等问题,"十二五"期间,应加强散杂居地区特别是普通高校民族团结教育问题的研究,以及国民"民族教育"体系和国外"民族国家建设"理论的研究,以推动我国民族团结进步事业的发展。Ethnic unity education is one of key contents and ideological guarantee for the cause of ethnic unity and advancement. Retrospection and summary of research status quo is practically important for the promotion of this very cause. In the past decade, we have achieved a lot in this field, but still got problems to deal with： slow progress, few achievements, narrow range of subjects, imbalance of academic research, low level of academic achievement, inadequate theoretical innovation, etc.. During the time ofl2th five-year plan , in order to promote the development of our ethnic unity and advancement, the following should be strengthened： the study of ethnic unity education in sparsely populated area, especially in the ethnic institutions of higher learning, national system of ethnic education, international theories about construction of ethnic nation.
