摘　　要：根据复调小说理论对索尔.贝娄的小说《赫索格》的四个主要复调特征进行了解读:第一,"多声部";第二,复调视角;第三,复调结构;第四,复调时空。因此,可认为《赫索格》是典型的复调小说。Based on the polyphonic theory,the paper interprets the four polyphonic characteristics in Herzog,i.e.first,polyphony;second,multiple points of view;third,parallel structures;forth,multiple space and time.Hence,the author of the paper holds that Herzog is a type of polyphonic fiction indeed.
