摘　　要：英语专业学生的自主阅读能力是其学习是否成功的重要因素,却也是教师教学的盲点。针对此情况,本研究对某高校英语专业学生进行了一次问卷调查,旨在了解学生自主阅读的情况,发现存在的问题,并对教学有所启示。The self-directed reading ability of English majors is an important factor for their language learning.However,many language teachers fail to pay atttention to students＇ after-class reading.Therefore,this reseach is based on a survey of students＇ self-directed reading,with the aim to know better the status quo of students＇ reading,to disclose the problems and to benefit teaching.
