摘　　要：商务合同属于法律性公文,具有准确、严谨、规范等特征,其语言有别于普通用语。文章基于自建商务合同英语语料库基础上,探讨了商务合同英语的语言特征,主要分析同义术语连用现象,并从认知层面对其功能进行分类探讨,为英语商务合同的写作与翻译提供参考。International business contracts shares the characteristics of legal documents, i.e., accuracy, preciseness and normalization which are different from the general genres. This research explores the characteristics of the consecutive synonyms of terms used in the contracts and discusses the functions, all the discussions can shed new light on the writing and translation of international business contracts.
