摘　　要：本文以2009年全年《纽约时报》涉华报道上出现的所有汉语借词为样本,研究当代美国主流媒体上出现的汉语借词的特征与规律。本文分析了研究样本在构成形态及所属范畴方面的特点,并通过统计方法分析了这些汉语借词分别按构成形态和所属范畴的分布比例。最后,本文探讨了以上调查结果所揭示的国际媒体上汉语借词现象背后的当代大文化背景因素。In this paper,an empirical investigation is made into the characteristics and regularities of Chinese loan-words in contemporary mainstream American news media,with all the Chinese borrowings found in China-related reports on New York Times in 2009 as the samples for research.The structural and categorical features of the samples are analyzed,and a statistical method is used to analyze the proportions of the samples in terms of their structures as well as in terms of their categories.Finally,the contemporary macro-cultural backgrounds behind these Chinese borrowings,as is revealed by the result of the analysis,are explored.
