摘　　要：民族理论是中国传统文化的重要组成部分。中国古代民族观虽有助长民族歧视、破坏民族团结的消极因素,但也有促进各民族团结、凝聚的积极因素,这些积极因素对中华民族认同具有重要作用。Theories of nation are an important part of traditional Chinese culture. Ancient notions of a nation, while having the negative effects of nursing discrimination and thus harming national unity, are positive in their function of promoting national unity between different ethnic groups and advancing national cohesion. These positive functions are important to the identification of Chinese nation.
