摘  要:《大学》作为儒家之经典阐述了"仁"的践行者"君子"是如何定位、如何培养的,更重要的是论述了"君子"所循之道。"止"作为"近道"的第一步,多数学者都是从"所当止之地"、"居"、"不迁"三个方面来解释,但仅从这三个层面理解"止"是不够的,不能表达其全部思想内涵。只有以文本为根据,从"止于至善"的过程性、渐进性和"物有本末"的始基性、根源性出发,才能诠释"止"的真正涵义。The Great Learning is considered as the Confucian classics in which it expounders benevolences how to be positioned and how to be developed.More importantly,it refers to the principles and rules which benevolence should abide by."Close to Tao" takes the "Stillness" as its first step.More scholars explained the "Stillness" in three ways: the position to be stopped,habitat and nonmoving.The article holds that it's not enough to explain the"Stillness" just by above three levels because it can't include all connotations of stillness.The article tells the stillness' process and origin which is from the process of nature,gradual,and also from origin of objects in the world.
