Objective To investigate the expression of ΔNp63,VEGF and PCNA in transitional cell carcinoma of bladder (TCCB) and their relationship with the invasion and metastasis of TCCB. Methods The expressions of ΔNp63, VEGF and PCNA on pathological sections of 108 patients with TCCB were detected with immunohistochemical staining. The immunoassay results were analyzed in relation to the tumor stage, grade and the clinical prognosis. Results ΔNp63, VEGF in tumor tissue of PCNA and positive expression rate were 78.7%, 58.3% and 84.3%; Compared with control bladder tissue, its expression was significantly higher, the differences were statistically significant (P 〈 0.01); And pathology classification high level, invasive urothelial carcinoma and a lymph node metastasis of positive patients significantly higher than the low level pathology classification, superficial urothelial carcinoma and without lymph node metastasis of the patients, the dif- ferences were statistically significant (P 〈 0.05). Conclusion The over expression of ΔNp63, VEGF and PCNA have a close relationship with the invasion and metastasis of TCCB.
