摘  要:周敦颐继承了隋唐五代以来儒释道三教融合的开阔学风。从他的人生历程来看,他既有儒家人仕传统的一面,也有由庄子所开启的文人传统的一面。①作为一位由士入仕的儒者,周敦颐支持范仲淹的庆历新政和王安石的熙宁变法,而这些事迹都被朱熹及宋明以后的儒者刻意掩盖。②周敦颐在个人生活情趣和精神意境上,则近于庄周风格,其文人生活更像魏晋士人,雅好山水,吟诗论道。Zhou Dun-yi's Taoist theory and life-tastes can confirm each other.According to his poetic prose,his life,social intercourses and temperament are all presenting a strong Taoist atmosphere;and seeing from his thoughts,his theory belongs to Taoist school too.So Zhou is actually not the founding father of the Confucian school of idealist philosophy of the Song and Ming Dynasties,as it was said traditionally.This essay tries to reject the effects of Confucian orthodoxy concerned since Zhu Xi's period,restore Zhou's thoughts to their original conditions both on the basis of his texts and according to his life-tastes and philosophical conceptions.
