摘　　要：橡塑密封的关键不仅取决于形状,更重要的是取决于材质。介绍了国外新型密封材料——钢化聚醚聚氨酯,从抗磨损、抗老化、抗挤出等角度出发,探讨这一材质与传统密封材料的区别,并例举这一密封材料的应用为广钢电炉厂生产设备的可靠持续运转提供了有力的保障。The keypoint of sealing is the material of the seal, but not the shape of the seal. The Paper introduces the steel-like polyether urethane, a up-to-state material for sealing globally. On the aspects of anti-corrosion, anti-timewear/ng and anti- extrusion, etc, the Paper discuss the advantages of polyether urethane in contrast to various conventional sealing materials, and make some cases of its application. The Paper illustrate that the polyether urethane with such advantages is a firm ensurance for the reliable and continuous operation of electric are furnace plant of GIS＇s equipment and process.
