摘　　要：美国诗人华莱士·史蒂文斯的诗歌《礼拜天早晨》是反映作者关于宗教、信仰和人生的哲思的名作。通过文本细读可以看到:本诗体现出多种张力,彰显出作者对传统宗教的怀疑、对真正信仰的追寻、对神圣价值的向往以及对现代人的人生意义与心灵归宿的关注。＂Sunday Morning＂, a profound poem by Wallace Stevens, reflects his meditations on religion, faith and human life. Examined through close reading, significant tensions in this poem manifest themselves so as to show the poet＇s doubts about orthodox religion, his search for faith and divine value, his rediscovery of the meaning of life, and his concern with spiritual reorientation in the modem world.
