摘　　要：地名不仅是地理名词,而且也是文化的符号,通过地名可以了解一个民族历史上的分布范围和迁徙路线。佤语地名具有以"永"、"班"、"耿"、"达"、"斯"、"叶"字为首的六大特点,这对于进一步研究云南古地名和云南民族历史具有一定的借鉴作用。Place name is not only a geographical noun,but also a symbol of culture.By knowing place names,we can know and master an ethnic group distribution and migration route in its history.The article is to analyze the characteristics of Wa language place names,which is beginning with the words of ＂yong＂ ＂ban＂ ＂geng＂ ＂da＂ ＂si＂ ＂ye＂ and this will be helpful to study ancient place names in Yunnan and to study Yunnan ethnic groups history.
