摘　　要：名词性概念词汇表征是指语言在词汇层面赋予名词性概念以俗名的语言现象。不同文化背景语言的名词性概念在词汇表征方面既有许多共同之处,也存在各种差异。不同语言名词性概念词汇表征的差异虽然一直是国内外学者关注的对象,但深入、系统的研究尚显缺乏。文章旨在认知语言学识解理论框架下探讨汉英名词性概念词汇表征差异的认知理据。Lexical representation of a nominal concept refers to the linguistic phenomenon of designating a nominal concept at the lexical level of a language.Languages of different cultural backgrounds have a lot in common as the lexical representation of nominal concepts is concerned,but differences among one another are equally pervasive.Attention has long been given to the differences between languages in this field by scholars both abroad and at home,but in-depth and systematic study is still lacking.This paper,therefore,is designed to explore the cognitive motivations of the differences in lexical representation of nominal concepts in Chinese and English（DLRNCCE） in the framework of the construal theory of cognitive linguistics.
