摘　　要：新兴技术在相当大的程度上已成为一个地区乃至一个国家经济发展的驱动力,把握新兴技术经济效应具有重要意义。从新兴技术的内涵出发,分别从新兴技术经济效应的评估内容和评估方法两个方面,对新兴技术经济效应进行了阐述。在分析国内外学者对经济效应评估综述基础上,提出运用"震级法"评估新兴技术经济效应的设想,并具体描述了震级法的基本步骤,以期为下一步实证分析奠定基础。Emerging technologies, to a large extent, have become driver of economic development in a region and even a nation, so to grasp the economic impact of emerging technologies is of significant meaning. This paper set out from the connotation of emerging technologies, then discussed the economic impact of emerging technologies re- spectively from their evaluation content and evaluation methods. Based on review of economic impact assessment of emerging technologies from scholars both at home and abroad, finally the paper proposed the idea using ＇seismic approach＇ to evaluate economic impact of emerging technologies, and pointed out basic steps about ＇seismic approach＇, which laid the foundation for the empirical analysis
