摘　　要：[目的]改良和创新糯玉米种质资源,优化育种基础群体,选育优良自交系,为高产优质单交种的育成提供保证。[方法]介绍糯玉米自交系通系5的选育、主要特征特性及其应用,探讨其应用推广价值。[结果]通过直接从糯质基础群体选系,使产量和优良糯性品质等性状在更高水平上结合,江苏沿江地区农业科学研究所采用"分离小群体"选系的育种方法,聚合了多品种优良基因,成功选育出综合性状优良、配合力高的糯玉米自交系通系5及其"通系5类群",这种育种方法是对轮回选择改良群体概念的拓展和补充。[结论]以通系5及其衍生系为亲本,育成了一批高产优质糯玉米新品种,这些糯玉米系列杂交种在生产上已大面积推广应用,取得了良好的经济与社会效益。[Objective] The purpose was to modify and create waxy corn germ plasm resource,optimize the breeding basis groups,and breeding good inbred lines,to provide a guarantee for breeding single-cross hybrids with high yield and good quality.[Method] The breeding,main characters and application of inbred line Tongxi 5 of waxy corn were introduced,and its application and popularization value were discussed.[Result] Tongxi 5 and Tongxi 5 subgroup are the waxy corn inbred lines bred by the small group method which selects inbred lines from waxy-based groups directly in Agricultural Institute of Riparian of Jiangsu.These inbred lines has specialty of high combination ability and good comprehensive characters.They also combine more desired alleles from different waxy corns.The small group method is a nice expansion and supplement to recurrent selection.[Conclusion] A number of new waxy corn hybrids which mates with Tongxi 5 and its derived lines have been bred and had the features of high yield and good qualities.These series hybrids have been abroad applied in the production and had achieved good economic and social benefits.
