摘　　要：儿童阅读推广运动正在中国民间蓬勃展开,作为保证公民阅读权利和阅读公平的社会机构,公共图书馆理应成为儿童阅读推广的一个重要支点。论文论述了儿童阅读推广的重要意义,总结了西方国家儿童阅读推广的特点、成功经验,介绍了我国民间兴起的儿童阅读推广运动,呼吁公共图书馆界了解中西方儿童阅读推广运动,并在儿童阅读推广中发挥自己的独特作用。并在儿童阅读推广中发挥自己的独特作用。The campaign of reading promotion in children is developing rapidly and widely in China. As a social institution of guaranteeing the citizen reading right and reading justice, public library should play a very important role in it. This paper discusses the great significance of reading promotion among children, summarizes the characteristics and successful experience in western countries, appeals to public library attach importance to children reading promotion and play to their own unique function ir it.
