摘　　要：Aquatic insects present a great diversity of species for a certain water ecosystem. Beside the fact they are important indicator for the protection of water quality, the studies related to them are very scarce. Water entomofauna consists of a whole species belonging to different orders and classes of insects. Odonata （dragonflies） are the most famous and have impressive images. Odonata, Hemiptera and Coloptera are indicators of aquatic environments. The diversity of Aquatic Insect in Shkodra＇s Lake Region shows the purity level of Shkodra Lake. Our conclusion is that no matter how small the pollution of Shkodra Lake is, it should be continuously monitored.
