民办学院“三课堂”大学英语教学模式研究

摘　　要：为了培养大学新生的英语自主学习能力,根据教育部大学英语改革的精神以及中山大学南方学院自身特点,该校在新生中采取了为期两学年的"三课堂",即真实课堂+虚拟课堂+社会课堂的大学英语教学模式。这项教学改革实验使用同一份问卷对新生进行实验前和实验后的调查,发现经过两年的教学实验,学生的自主学习能力得到了较大的提高。通过对学生进行访谈,了解到大部分学生都非常赞同这一模式,这种模式弥补了传统课堂的不足和局限性,促进了学生英语自主学习能力的提高。The Three Classrooms（real classroom virtual classroom social classroom） teaching model is an empirical study intended to promote freshmen＇s autonomous English learning.This new model is used to teach the freshmen for 2 years.Before and after the experiment,the same questionaire is used to test students＇ autonomous learning ability and it is found that students＇ automomous English learning ability is greatly improved after 2 years＇ study in this model.Through the interview with the students,it is found that this new model is favored by most of the students.
